The power cylinder is an executive element that converts hydraulic or pneumatic energy into mechanical energy and performs linear reciprocating motion (or swing motion). It has a simple structure and reliable work. When it is used to achieve reciprocating motion, the deceleration device can be eliminated, and there is no transmission gap, and the motion is stable.

According to the principle of providing pressure, power cylinders can be divided into two categories: hydraulic cylinders and pneumatic cylinders

In the positive displacement hydraulic transmission machinery used in petroleum processing and petrochemical production, the power hydraulic cylinder is the most commonly used form of hydraulic engine. The dynamic connection seal (piston and piston rod seal) of the power hydraulic cylinder is the most important structural element, and its reliability determines the stability of the entire hydraulic cylinder.

Pneumatic cylinder is a pneumatic actuator that converts pneumatic energy into mechanical energy and performs linear reciprocating motion (or swing motion). It has a simple structure and reliable work. When it is used to achieve reciprocating motion, the deceleration device can be eliminated, and there is no transmission gap, and the motion is stable. Therefore, it is widely used in various mechanical pneumatic systems.
